Bag Making Bees is a crafting business specializing in bag-making kits, fabrics, sewing materials, and accessories to help you create beautiful, handmade bags.

Our products cater to all skill levels—from beginners to experienced crafters. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your skills, we have something for you!



Do kits come sewing patterns?

 

Yes! Each box comes with either a paper pattern or redemption code for a pdf pattern.



Ordering & Shipping

 


How do I place an order?

You can browse our shop, add items to your cart, and complete checkout securely on our website.

 



Where do you ship?

We currently ship for free within the contiguous United States. We also ship world wide for additional shipping costs (we do not pay duty fees and it is the customers responsibility to cover that cost. Please know your countries policies before ordering) 

 


How long does shipping take?

 

  • Bag Making Bees subscription boxes ship by the 5th of every month.
  • Bag Making Babe subscription boxes ship by the 20th of every odd month (January, March, May, etc.).
  • Hive (Members only) orders are typically processed within 3-5 business days and shipped accordingly. You’ll receive tracking information once your order is dispatched.




Do you offer local pickup?

 

Yes, you can pick your box up on the shipping date specified for your box (see shipping times above) at our storefront.

What comes in a bag-making kit?

Each kit includes material, interfacing (if needed), hardware, a paper OR pdf pattern, and step-by-step video tutorial . Some kits may also include additional supplies—check the product description in each box for details.



Where do the supplies come from?

 

All supplies in our kits are provided by Wonderground Fabrics. If you’re looking for more fabrics, hardware, or other sewing materials, you can find additional supplies there! www.wondergroundfabrics.com


Do PDF Pattern codes expire?

Yes, pdf download codes expire after 3 months. Please download your pattern as soon as you receive the box as patterns cannot be retrieved after the expiration date.

Do you sell supplies separately?

Yes! We offer a variety of bag hardware, including zippers, clasps, and handles, available for individual purchase on our main website www.wondergroundfabrics.com and our box exclusive items are listed in the Hive section of the website.

 



Subscriptions


Are the boxes a subscription service?

Yes! We offer two subscription services:


  • Bag Making Bees – A monthly bag-making kit shipped by the 5th of every month. This box is geared toward confident beginners/ intermediate projects
  • Bag Making Babe – A bi-monthly bag-making kit shipped by the 20th of every odd month (January, March, May, etc.). This box is perfect for beginners or sewists looking for fun and easy projects.




How do I cancel my subscription?

 

You can cancel your subscription anytime by logging into your account and selecting the “Manage Subscription” option. Follow the cancellation steps provided. If you need assistance, contact us at wonderground@yahoo.com . Please note that cancellations must be made 24 hours before the next billing cycle to avoid being charged for the upcoming box.



Can I pause my subscription instead of canceling?

Yes! If you’d like to take a break but not cancel entirely, you can pause your subscription from your account settings.



Returns & Support

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of our products, we generally do not accept cancellations or returns on kits. However, if there’s an issue with your order, please contact us within 3 days of receiving and we’ll work to resolve it.



What if my kit is missing a piece?

 

We strive for accuracy, but if something is missing, please email us at www.wondergroundfabrics.com and we’ll send a replacement or credit if needed.


Do you offer tutorials for beginners?

 

Yes! We provide detailed instructions with our kits, and you can find tutorials on the oklaroots channel.
